GOOD COMPANION TO YOU
Assalamualaikum my peace seeker,
Great
companions are the individuals who share with their sidekicks both bliss and
bitterness. In the event that we share our emotions with the wrongdoers, whose
activities are useless and in light of defilement, at that point we are
following an indistinguishable ways and measures from what they did, and we
will wind up being as degenerate as they may be.
In the end, we are stuck in an
unfortunate situation, how might we confront Allah's (SWT) disappointment and
dismay?
Rather than making companions with the complicated ones, we ought to get
to know the exemplary, yet treat the rest in a thoughtful and just way.
Remaining at adequate separation is fundamental; yet treating everyone in an
honorable and kind way is required.
How do we choose our friend or our companion in Islam philosophy?
1. Try not to get to know a liar (Kadhib). For a liar resembles a delusion. He demonstrates the far off as close and the close as removed. He will dependably hoodwink you and inconvenience you.
2. Try not to become friends with a transgressor (Ghasib). For he will neglect you for a unimportant aggregate and make your wrongdoings seem exceptionally appealing to you. He will make you a casualty of Allah's reprimand through his trivial sins and remove you more remote from His submission and fulfillment. He will make Allah's love show up as His insubordination, and His rebellion as His love. He will drag you alongside himself in the devil's path.
3. Never get to know a grumpy person (Bakheel/Kanjus). For in your critical moment and misery, he will withhold his riches from you, while he is in a position to help you. (He esteems his riches more than whatever else. Furthermore, to that end he is set up to neglect even his companions)
4. Try not to become friends with the person who breaks relations (with his relatives/Khata Rahmi). For, such a man has been reviled in the Noble Qur'an in three spots. He is fascinated in his own particular undertakings with sparse respect for others. (Kinship with such a man will in the long run lead the person towards sins and insubordination of Allah)"
On the authority of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (radiAllahu anhu), the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said:
"The likeness of a righteous friend and an evil friend, is the likeness of a (musk) perfume seller and a blacksmith. As for the perfume seller, he may either bestow something on you, or you may purchase something from him, or you may benefit from his sweet smell. And as for the blacksmith, he may either burn your clothes, or you may be exposed to his awful smell."
[Bukhari and Muslim]
